Services
A protective coating system is a specified sequence of surface preparation, primer, and topcoats chosen to suit the substrate and its exposure, rather than a single coat of paint. Atom Structures supplies and applies interior and exterior paints, texture finishes, epoxy and PU coatings, anti-corrosion systems, and waterproof coatings.
Atom Structures supplies and applies interior and exterior paints, texture finishes, furniture finishes, steel structure painting, epoxy coatings, PU coatings, anti-corrosion systems, waterproof coatings, industrial painting, and specialised protective finishes for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
Coating life is decided before the first coat goes on. Surface preparation, ambient conditions at the time of application, dry film thickness, and the recoat interval between layers matter more to how a finish performs than the brand on the tin, and each is set out in the specification for the substrate being coated.

Questions
Epoxy bonds hard to the substrate and resists chemicals and abrasion well, which suits floors, plant rooms, and industrial surfaces, but it chalks under prolonged sunlight. PU holds its colour and gloss outdoors and stays more flexible. The two are often used together, with epoxy as the build coat and PU as the exposed topcoat.
Because adhesion is decided there. A coating applied over loose material, laitance, mill scale, moisture, or an incompatible existing finish will fail regardless of its quality. Preparation is specified as part of the coating system rather than treated as site clean-up.
Yes. Steel structure painting and anti-corrosion systems are applied to fabricated steelwork, and the specification is matched to the environment the steel will sit in, since an internal frame and an exposed external structure do not need the same protection.
Yes. Texture finishes, decorative wall treatments, and applied graphics are delivered under the same scope, and are frequently combined with printed panels and wall treatments on public infrastructure interiors.
Per square metre against the specified system, with the rate set by the number of coats, the required film thickness, the extent of surface preparation, and access. Protective and industrial systems are quoted separately from decorative finishes.
